Review on iPhone 4S

Was doing my routine work when i came to know that a colleague had got an new contract on iPhone 4S with Vodafone UK. As an end user he did not have a simple clue on how to handle the iPhone's system. So he called me up and i guided him through the process of registration which went off smoothly but by mistake he enabled the voice over system which was unable to recognize his voice.

Then came my turn when he handed over the phone to me for use. I disabled the voice over feature which was unable to detect my voice also by pressing the home button three times. Thats it and the system was ready to use.

My normal phone is iPhone 3GS which i have been using for more than a year which is upgraded to iOS 4.3.3, also i do own a few other phone i.e. NOKIA N91, NOKIA N-GAGE and NOKIA 2600.

I have used many times iPhone 4 which has loads of features compared to iPhone 3GS but i was not so keen to buy iPhone 4 so i chose to wait and watch. The product cycle of a product has become so short that within months a new product becomes outdated. The companies are now a days so much involved in keeping the customer engaged to their loyalty that they don't provide an opportunity for customers to engage with other brands.

The body and make of iPhone 4S does not differ iPhone 4 and the looks are also same. I used the system and found the system to be relatively faster than iPhone 4 because of the A5 dual core processor.

The camera has still some problems working in bad light as all iphones but takes excellent pictures. Maybe the app market for some camera apps is still strong because of this minor problems existing in iPhone camera.

I couldn't review Siri as the phone wasn't in my hands for a long time. It went back to its original overcautious owner. The backup service provided by iOS5 to sync the files to the cloud maintained by apple is pretty cool. Files to be backed up are synced to the cloud by iCloud Did a customary test on the voice control feature of iPhone 4S and observed that if the iPhone 4S doesnt recognize your voice then you nearly are equivalent to being fucked up.

Taking Backup of contacts in iPhone

Here is how to back up your  iPhone  contacts on a PC.  1) Open i-tunes on your computer that you sync it to 2) Plug in your iPhone to the PC 3) open "Address book" window's address book program. Kinda lame, but it works. Its under start-programs-accessories - Back to  iTunes , click on the phone icon on the left - Click on the Info, and under "Contacts" (the first one) check "sync contacts from" and then pick "Windows address book" from the drop down menu - Click all contacts - Then at the bottom right of  iTunes , click "Sync" It will ask you if you want to merge or replace. Make sure you select "MERGE" or it will delete your contacts on the phone.  Thats it, check your Windows Address Book and everything should be there. All the numbers and emails that you have put so much time into adding to your phone. Pretty nice. So, from now on, if you add contacts to the phone it will back up to the Computer and the Co...
